At Whole Families, our focus is not merely on the sin someone is involved in but on the underlying pain that may be driving it. While not all sin stems from pain, the pressures to sin come from three sources: the devil, the world, and our flesh. Addressing only the sin without understanding the pain behind it fails to provide a lasting solution.

We are committed to a personal and intensive multi-day approach to counseling, where we invite Jesus into each area of pain to bring healing and peace. Once the pain is healed, there is no longer a need to cover it with sinful behaviors like bitterness, sexual sin, pride, substance abuse, or hypocrisy. We guide clients through a prayer of repentance, spoken out loud in the counselor’s presence, to clear their conscience before God and others. This prayer also serves to notify the enemy of their repentance and provides a witness against Satan, the accuser.

Our goal is to help clients maintain lasting peace and empower them to apply these principles in their lives, enabling them to teach others from their experience. We are a 501c.3 non-profit based in Lincoln, Nebraska and offer our services at no cost to the client, being supported primarily by free will offerings of those who have received help and wish to help others.
